Carmela's, which will soon celebrate it's 12th anniversary, opens it's doors every morning with one goal in mind...to provide exceptional, quality service & spectacular Southern Italian cuisine to each and every patron. It is a goal that has been achieved and surpassed with every year.
The Mamma Mia's/Mamma Carmela's thriving family business began in Kingston in 1974 as a joint venture between two brothers and their families. Starting with subs, pizza and Italian specialty dishes, Pasquale, Giovanni, Francesca and Eugenia Viscariello have created a loyal following by providing hearty homemade food with superior service.
Now the second generation is striving to continue the solid traditions that their parents set. The family, proprietors of six (6) Italian restaurants, plan to continue expansion throughout both the North and South Shores.
